Beach and Waterfront Homes
Coastal architecture resonates with people as an ideal location for a dream house. Capturing water views and breezes is the first step in siting the house. Housing multiple generations with different needs and pastimes is another part of the design challenge. Atelier 11 has been entrusted with designing houses on a variety of water settings: from lake houses and Chesapeake Bay houses to beach houses. Each location provides the opportunity to create a custom home that brings out the beauty of the site and overcomes the environmental obstacles that arise in working on the water.
On the practical side, our design team successfully handles septic, environmental considerations, variances, and permitting to create a streamlined project.
